We’re hosting a breakfast meeting on Wednesday 31st August 2016 for local businesses – why don’t you come along?
Learning Nexus have been up and running for over 25 years in the eLearning industry and recently moved from Stroud’s Fromehall Mill to Waterwells Business Park in Quedgeley due to better the broadband connection. Being new to the area, Learning Nexus are hosting a free breakfast event for the local businesses in the commercial district and invite them to join them at their office, based in Wheatstone Court, between 8.30am and 11.00am on Wednesday 31st August.
The casual breakfast has no formal agenda in the attempt to offer the simple opportunity for the local businesses to get a better understanding of the services and products on offer in their immediate area. The type of businesses at Waterwells Business Park range from packaging companies and complex engineering, to recruitment agencies and consultancy services. The sheer diversity of organisations within a small area will make for a successful networking event to discover what the Park really has to offer.
“We currently live in a world where business is centred around technology and the majority of tasks are completed via the internet, particularly for the eLearning industry”, said Peter Howell, Managing Director of Learning Nexus. “Therefore, we felt it was really important to invite other local businesses into our office and meet them face-to-face and build relationships.”
Learning Nexus have recently secured a contract with All Fleet Services, a neighbour in Wheatstone Court, who required eLearning services for their employees. All Fleet Services provide a specialist contact centre for the fleet and automotive industry as well as management and telemarketing services and have signed a contract for a Moodle VLE to offer learning and training for staff. This contract highlights an example of how businesses interact in the local area which will only be enhanced by the breakfast event.
A considerable number of businesses have already confirmed attendance but if you or your organisation are in the local area and are interested in popping along to the breakfast, please contact us at hello@learningnexus.co.uk.
